From Sovereign Self to Collective Intelligence

On July 28, 2026, the Lunar Nodes shift from the Pisces–Virgo axis into Aquarius–Leo, marking a profound recalibration in both individual and collective evolution. This is not simply a change of signs—it is a shift in orientation.
With the South Node moving into Leo, we are invited to release patterns of over-
identification with personal validation, recognition, and ego-centered expression. At the same time, the North Node in Aquarius calls us forward into a new terrain: one rooted in collective intelligence, shared vision, and contribution to something larger than the self.
In essence, this transition reflects a movement from “I am” to “We are” – from the
sovereign self as the center of experience, to the individual as a vital node within a
greater field of consciousness.
Understanding the Nodes: The Dragon’s Path
In astrology, the Lunar Nodes describe an evolutionary axis – a dynamic interplay
between past mastery and future growth.
The North Node (Rahu) represents the direction of our evolution. It draws us toward unfamiliar territory, new experiences, and qualities that stretch us beyond our comfort zone. This energy can feel compelling, even urgent, as it invites growth and expansion into uncharted terrain.
