Newsletter Article Submission Policy

Because the IFGT has requested article submissions from the team and our members, I need to put a policy submission policy into place. If you wish to submit an article for the IFGT newsletter please understand that the following procedure will be in use.

1. Articles should be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief no later than the 15th of each month.

2. The content should be well constructed, proofed for grammar and errors.

3. The author should demonstrate excellent writing skills, have written before or have published content… even if voluntarily.

4. The article submitted will be reviewed and, if approved, will be included in the IFGT newsletter.

5. All articles are subject to the editor’s discretion to edit. If your article is edited, you will receive the edited version for your approval before publication. If you do not approve the edits, unfortunately, the article cannot be published. This is because the editor has limited availability of time for this process.

6. The author should include a short bio up to 50-65 words.

7. If your article contains unfamiliar terminology or subject matter, you should include definitions and even references to authenticate the source, if needed.

8. One page articles are better for the newsletter than longer articles.
